Nika grew up on a family farm, where she had been helping with the care of the domestic cattle since her childhood. In her free time, she is engaged in horseshoeing as well as more exciting hobbies such as various adrenaline sports. Her greatest passion remains animals, so after finishing primary school, she continued her education at the Veterinary Secondary School in Ljubljana in order to dedicate her future to their care and health.

Why Flicka? Because it means a young, untamed girl, which may remind me a bit of myself. At the end of 2022, a black filly named Flicka, a representative of the Barock Pinto breed originating from the Netherlands, came to our farm. That day, my long-held silent wish was fulfilled, and so far we have woven an inseparable bond that I hope will connect us for many years to come.
