His specialty certification is neurology, feline and canine orthopedics, and general surgery.

Having finished the secondary school Gimnazija Poljane, Vice continued his studies at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ljubljana, where he graduated in 2000. His main interest has always been neurology. He perfected his knowledge at the master’s study in neurology at ESAVS (European School for Advanced Veterinary Medicine) in Bern, Switzerland, and held job placements at specialist neurology clinics in Germany and the Czech Republic.

Vice perfected his speciality of Emergeny Medicine in Londonu at BAVEC (British Association of Veterinary Emergency& Critical Care).

He also pursued orthopedics at SCIVAC in Cremona, Italy (Italian Companion Animal Veterinary Association), where he also perfected his CT diagnostics expertise.

He regularly attends congresses held by WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) and EERVC (Eastern European Regional Veterinary Conference).

As a mentor, Vice shares his knowledge and experience with his younger colleagues. He is the owner and director of Prva-K.
