FLEE MEDICATION

QUESTION:

I’m contacting you today regarding getting flee medication for my dog Buddy. He is 7 months old and the last time he had it was in October. I was wondering if you think it is necessary to give him another flee medication now or should we wait?

ANSWER:

Considering his age, he can recieve any and all flea medications on the market. Most preparations only last for about a month, only the bravecto pill lasts 3 months, or the foresto collar lasts 8 months. We usually reccomend flee preventatives on a monthly basis, all year long.
